• When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and Google account ID).

• We never collect your password.

1.2 Local Habit Data

• All habits, streaks, and related data are stored only on your device by default.

• We do not upload or share this data with any server.

1.3 Google Drive Permission & Backups

• During Google sign-in, we request access to your Google Drive App Data folder.

• This permission is used exclusively for backups and only when you manually choose to create or restore a backup.

• We never read, access, or modify any other files in your Drive and we cannot view or share your backup.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide core app functionality

• Create and maintain your Habit Quest account

• Process and validate subscriptions

• Perform backups to your Google Drive App Data folder when you request it

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Local storage: Your habit data stays on your device unless you choose to back it up.

• Google Drive backups: Backups are stored in your private Google Drive App Data folder, which is invisible to others and not counted against your Google Drive quota.

4. Policy Updates

• We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements.

• We will highlight major changes inside the app or on our website.
